Intelligent wind tracking for kiters. This app analyses the forecast so you don’t have to — helping you find where your future sessions are quickly.
- ● GREEN — Wind ≥ your GREEN threshold (default 20 knots) in a good (onshore/cross on) direction, tide is favourable
- ● AMBER — Wind ≥ your AMBER threshold (default 15 knots), or a cross-shore direction, or tide is borderline — worth considering
- ● RED — No go!
- Add spots from the spot list to your forcast. Add manually or add all by distance from your current location or postcode
- Edit spots on your forecast page for easy comparison of your chosen spots
- Click any spot card to expand the hour-by-hour session timeline
- Weekend Warriors use SATURDAY or SUNDAY to filter down to weekend sessions at a glance
- Full Data shows the raw hourly wind & weather figures for that location
- Guru links to Windguru — useful to sanity check
- 💨❗ indicates strong gusts (10+ knots above base wind)
- 🌦️🌧️ rain does not effect the traffic light rating unless specified in your settings
- If your spot isn't listed, click "Add Spot" on map view or in the side bar on desktop
